INDEX & MATCH

INDEX & MATCH are amongst the most commonly used formulas together. These are an excellent alternate to the VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP formulas.

You'll also learn how to use the XMATCH formula introduced in Excel 365

How will this course help you?

Sifting through data can be tiresome. This course will help you learn multiple methods to go through your data, fetch information and analyse it easily.

Using VLOOKUP or HLOOKUP, you'll be able to find related data for a record based on just one known value.

If you use Excel 365 or Excel 2021, then you can use the powerful XLOOKUP formula instead. It allows you to search on either side of the data, as well as select if you would like to scan data from first to last or vice versa.

Most of us work on two-dimensional tables and often we need to find data based on multiple variables (row and column variable).

In this course, you will learn how to extract data easily from a two-dimensional table.

Working with ranges in Excel can be cumbersome. Especially when you have to classify data into several categories.

The most common way to classify data based on ranges is through nested IF statements. However, in this course, you'll learn how you can easily do that using the LOOKUP functions.
